Our Story
A heart for our community since 2010.
Founded by Odell Bunton Sr. and Donna Bunton, our organization has spent over a decade walking alongside families facing homelessness, unemployment, and isolation.
Donna's Heart is a faith-based nonprofit outreach organization based in Grand Prairie, Texas — formerly known as The International Purpose & Destiny Outreach Center. We updated our name to better reflect the heart of our founder, Donna Bunton, and the compassion-driven work we do every day.
Our faith-based, holistic model addresses the root causes of hardship — not just the symptoms — creating pathways to lasting self-sufficiency through housing, employment, education, and connection.
Today, we are expanding our Life Center initiative — a comprehensive hub of services including transitional housing, workforce development, early childhood education, and community outreach.

Meet Donna
The heart behind the ministry.
Donna Bunton is a wife, mother, and tireless advocate for families in Grand Prairie and beyond. Alongside her husband, Odell Bunton Sr., she has spent more than a decade pouring her faith, time, and resources into neighbors most people overlook.
Her ministry began with a simple conviction — that no one should have to walk through hardship alone. From a season of personal loss to founding a nonprofit serving hundreds of families, Donna has turned compassion into action, and action into a movement of hope.
Together, Donna and Odell continue to lead Donna's Heart with the same spirit it began with: love that shows up.

We believe every person deserves a pathway to stability, dignity, and purpose — and we walk alongside them every step of the way. From the single mother needing childcare to the family rebuilding after homelessness, our doors are open.
